What gearing do I use?  The gearing guestion is two part guestion.  Do you want more top end (more speed), or do you want more bottom end (more torque).  The way to get more top end speed is lower the number of teeth on the rear sprocket, so if your rear sprocket had 50 teeth you would go to a 49 tooth and gain more speed.  Or  You could go with more teeth on your counter sprocket if you had a 13 tooth you  use a 14 tooth.  But the counter sprocket change 1 tooth on counter sprocket equals 2,3 on the rear sprocket and also with counter sprocket you have to be careful not to go too big, because it won’t clear the case.  Now for more bottom end or torque. The way to get more torque or bottom end is to add more teeth to the rear sprocket so if you had a 49 tooth you would go to a 50 tooth and if you change the counter say 14 tooth to a 13 tooth would be like changing the rear higher by 2,3 teeth.
